I decided to take a trip to Montana, and surprise my sister.  I did.  She cried.  She almost hyperventilated.  It was great.

So was the granola I made for said trip.

Any good trip needs good travel food.  This super easy granola takes no time to make, so you can do it the night before.  Even at 10:30 at night.  When you have to leave the next morning at 5:30 am to catch your flight.  Best decision ever?  maybe not.  Doable? totally.

Granola in general is super sweet because you can customize it to your tastes, and it’s near impossible to screw up.  You can bake it, or not bake it.  Make it super healthy, or super sweet.  Personally, I’m not a fan of dried fruit in my granola, so I choose to leave it out.  You may choose differently, and as far as granola is concerned, that’s totally cool.

What makes this Granola super fantastic is that it’s not crumbly and dusty like other granolas.  You mix up all the delicious granola ingredients, and then cover it with a mixture of honey, agave, peanut butter, and some oil, and then bake it, so it’s actually kind of sticky and gooey and it clumps in a way that makes it easy to eat on airplanes without making a total disaster of yourself.  Because no one wants to be the guy who stands up at the end of the flight and half of his mid-flight snack falls out of is wrinkled clothes onto the floor… right?

Ok.  I’m trying to sell this too hard, huh.  It’s just really good granola.  Trip or no trip.  You should try some.
